Keller Joe Smith , January 13 2009, 7:59 am

.
Unfortunately due to some complications in my pregnancy, Keller was born much too early to survive at 17 weeks. The doctors assured us that he did not suffer and that means the world to us. When we held him he looked perfect and peaceful.

We hope that he is up there with his Baba and my German grandparents, and Dustin's grandparents keeping them on their toes. We told Johanna that she has a guardian Angel now, which makes her a pretty lucky little girl.

Needless to say this will a hard time for us for a little while. Thanks for all the support, We couldn't get through this without you, our family and our friends.

Keller

Irish: Anglicized form of Gaelic Ó Céileachair ‘son of Céileachar ’, a personal name meaning ‘companion-dear’, i.e. ‘lover of company’

We chose the name from a source that had 'small companion' as the meaning.

He will be with us always.
