Remembering our Angels

I think about Keller and our Beanie Baby often, especially now that were blessed with Emery. It's weird to think about that if they had stayed with us, Emery would not be here. I believe that Keller protected his baby sister when I carried her and made sure she arrived safe and sound. I get sad often because I miss my angels so much but try to remember all the good things in my life, Dustin, my kids, wonderful friends and family. I am pretty lucky. On Sunday we went to campus and had a family picnic. We ate, played and remembered Keller and Beanie Baby.

Mother's Day

I loved my mother's day! At first I was mad because Dustin ate the last pumpkin muffin :)...but the day got better! It was low key but that's what we need these days! Johanna made me card at school and helped daddy pick out flowers, chocolates, and a cake for me!

2 Months Old!

I can't believe Emery is two months old already...it has gone so fast. Currently she is suffering from a cold so she is pretty congested but is otherwise doing great. She is gaining weight despite her reflux; I just feed her smaller meals every 1.5 - 2 hours and the medicine seems to help as well. Yesterday we went to the pediatrician for her 2-month well-visit and Dr. Blum was very happy with her. She has excellent head control and was very alert and responsive. Her stats as of 5/10/2010 are as follows:

Emery's Stats:

Weight: 10 lbs 9.5 oz (38 %ile)
Length: 22.5" (48 %ile)
Head: 15" (27 %ile)

Going to School

Yesterday was Johanna's first day of Pre-School. She was so excited to go and has been looking forward to it all week. We dropped her off in the morning and she was not upset to see us leave at all! She just yelled"Bye bye "and started playing with a puzzle! She did great on her first day! Her teacher said that she was very sweet and had a lot of fun making mud-pies and playing outside with the other kids. She took a really good nap and ate all her lunch but her favorite was the afternoon snack of chocolate pudding! We are so happy and proud that she loves the school and has fun there...I can't believe my baby is growing up.

So excited!!
